Last month I was given the opportunity to photograph two very dear friends of mine commit their lives to one another. This would be my first wedding outside of Arizona to photograph and will be the start of at least 4 so far to follow. I absolutely FELL in LOVE with Nevada. Have never been to this particular area I was stunned by the beauty of the mountains and even stopped near Lake Tahoe with my husband after the wedding since I had never been there either. Nevada is an absolute gorgeous state and I can’t wait until the next time I can go back!
Photographing friends is an absolute dream! Experiencing a wedding as a friend and a professional is the most emotional and exciting thing I can do as a photographer and experiencing those moments with Tina and Dillon was just like that. I’ve known Tina since she was in high school and Dillon shortly after and have seen their relationship blossom into what it is today. Needless to say I cried several times. One of these moments was during Tina’s first look with her brother and dad and when her parents gave her a bracelet which once belonged to her grandmother who is no longer with us. I knew her grandmother and she was an amazing lady and loved Tina dearly. It was beautiful moment that I will forever remember. I not only teared up but laughed…a lot. Evidence by the pictures below!
I just love this family I can’t describe how much fun and how blessed I feel to have been included on such an amazing day. Thank you guys!
