Thank you for stopping by! Steponme Photography started in a small condo in 2009 by owner Steph Wahlig. Since then we have grown to 6 staff members and photograph over 50 weddings a year.  We specialize specifically with engagements and weddings, however we also photograph your beautiful families and newborn photography. Our signature style is natural light, lifestyle photography. We have been featured in Arizona Weddings magazine, Arizona Bride magazine and several wedding blogs such as Junebug Weddings, Wedding Chics, 100 layer cake, OnceWed, Style Me Pretty and OffBeat Bride.

About Steph

HI! Welcome! To introduce myself to you I am the face behind the name and here is a little about me. I’m the one that answers all the emails and phone calls so when you email it’s my mug you are talking to! I have been a photographer since 1999 when I started working with film. I took a few classes in high school and developed my own prints in a dark room.

Photography started off as a hobby as it does for a lot of people and after going to school for secondary education I realized that my passion of photography was too much and came back to the industry in 2009. Starting StepOnMe Photography (which was an old nickname in high school) started off slow and in our first year only booked 2 weddings.

It wasn’t until 2012 that things started to get going and by 2014 had secured over forty weddings that year. Things have changed for Stephanie since 2009. I am n ow married, have two beautiful children, Annabelle (7), Jackson (5) and a wonderful caring husband who has been a huge support system during those long weekends and countless nights of editing.

With the help of my amazing associate team I am able to shoot and give 110% to our clients and to this amazing industry! Because of the amazing help from our associate photographers I am also able to focus on my passion of film photography. Here is my current film work!
