Emily and Samuel are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Seriously sweet. The second I got there they were nothing but smiles, hugs and thank you’s and I hadn’t even shot anything yet. The best thing about weddings is how happy people are on their day. Everyone is filled with anxious excitement that it is so hard not to feel happiness for them. I think that’s why I love weddings so much. There really is nothing better than making people happy.
This small affair was in the gorgeous mountains over the summer. I love Flagstaff in the winter but the summer it is so nice to be able to get out of the heat and experience a beautiful 70 degree wedding day. I had never been to the Colton House before. It is a gorgeous small cabin in the woods on the way to Snowflake Ski Resort. Tucked away among the gorgeous pine trees was the perfect setting for Emily and Sam’s wedding. The day could not have been more perfect! Thank you guys for allowing me to be there with you as you said teary I Do’s. I will never forget it.
Fun Fact: Mom made the flowers and traveled with them on a plane! If that’s not incredible, I don’t know what is!
